MOVE BETTER. FEEL BETTER. PERFORM BETTER.

Animal Osteopathy (also known as veterinary osteopathy) is the name given to osteopathy treatment when it applies to dogs, horses and occasionally other household pets and farm yard animals. It is a recognized system of treatment that uses physical techniques to remove tension and restriction in the animal’s musculoskeletal system. By treating the joints, muscles, tendons and nerves, the aim of osteopathy is to rebalance the body’s structures which therefore aids the animal’s function by relieving pain, preventing injury and maximizing movement and performance.

VETERINARIANS

Working with your Veterinarian

Osteo 4 Animals supports evidence-based practice and we endeavor to communicate with your Veterinarian about the treatment/rehabilitation process at all times. By doing so, this will allow us to provide the best possible outcome for your pets.

Although it is not mandatory, a Veterinary Referral Form is provided to ensure that we have the most up to date clinical information about your pet and your referring veterinarian’s practice details.

Some insurance companies require a Veterinary Referral for claims to be processed. Please check with your insurer to determine if you are covered for Animal Osteopathic or Chiropractic Treatment.

For the Vet

To refer a patient to us we need to know a brief history about your patient’s complaint and your consent to start treatment. You can provide this information by downloading our online referral form.
